Native of Olivos, Buenos Aires. . Killed in action 9th June 1944 (age 29). They were on a mining mission over the German Naval base at Brest in France; the mission was a success, in spite of heavy German flak barrage. On their return to base they were diverted to RAF Catfoss due to bad weather and the Halifax (LW149) under the command of Flying Officer Hillrich crashed into some trees near a farm in Seaton, East Riding of Yorkshire. Son of Thomas Walker Rodger and Christina Rodger; husband of Mary Dillon Rodger, of Olivos, Buenos Aires, Argentine. Left Argentina on 4th March 1941.
