Native of the Tigre Delta, Buenos Aires. Worked at the Central Argentine Railway. Killed on active service 31st December 1943 (age 28). Amos had been previously wounded 16/03/1942 on ferry flight from North Africa that crashed in Ireland. His Vickers Wellington (X9666) crashed into a hill near Aberdovey, Merioneth. His remains rest at Merioneth Cemetery. Son of Elsie Maud Victoria and Henry Rowland Amos, (former agricultural expert, BAGSR, of Delta Tigre, Buenos Aires. Argentina). Left Argentina 20th October 1940.
