Native from Lomas de Zamora. KIA during night operations over Dortmund, Germany 24/05/1943 (age 39). The Lancaster bomber (ED813), in which he was a crew member, was shot down over Essen. His body was buried at Dusseldorf Cemetery, Nordfriendhof 26th May 1943; taken then to Berlin War Cemetery. Son of Robert Wolfe Ancell and Hilda Susan Ancell, Argentina. Roll of Honour English Social Club Lomas de Zamora and also Commemorated in the central stained glass window of the chapel in the Lavallol Cemetery
